Details about the program:
EMT is a two year program, with students having to take health science first which focuses on human anatomy and structure. Students also learn health related subjects like medical technology and emergency management. If students maintain a 3.0 grade point average, students are then allowed to take Emergency Medical Service. It is a continuation of Health Science I and is designed to peak student interest in the careers of pre-hospital emergency medical provider fields. Students learn personal safety, patient transport, learn basic first aid, and CPR.
