What will you learn?

In Health Science, students learn anatomy, healthcare delivery systems, medical terminology, emergency management, health information technology, legal practices, and appropriate use of technology and industry-standard equipment. In Emergency Medical Service students learn personal safety, patient transport, basic first aid to include medical and trauma emergencies, and CPR.





Benefits of taking this course?

As mentioned above, students can qualify for a CTE endorsement on their high school diploma, and also have a chance of getting college credits for CSN. Students also have a major advantage coming out of highschool with the knowledge learned from this course. EMT is also a growing profession, with new jobs getting opened every day.





Activities done in the program?

Students get the opportunity to learn CPR with a training dummy/Students also are able to get an on hands experience with an ambulance, being able to view the outside and inside.
